Cultural Diversity Class and Practicum
For the spring semester of 2021, the Cultural Diversity class and practicum allowed me to have diverse experiences by helping with a variety of experiences to expand my knowledge of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds with diverse learning needs. I was able to help with Ministry on the Margins in downtown Bismarck, ND and participate in numerous Bloody Sunday Forum and Students North Dakota United (SNDU) events. These experiences helped me to be better prepared and knowledgeable as a future teacher to meet the needs of every unique student from every diverse background.

Adapted Physical Education Class
The Adapted Physical Education course at the University of Mary provided me with opportunities to observe and teach in an adapted physical education classroom environment. These experiences occurred with Mrs. Wheeling at Simle Middle School. Through this course, I was able to gain knowledge and understanding of how to modify lesson plans and activities for students with disabilities.

Kicks for Kids
Kicks for Kids is an organization that helps to teach young children the game of soccer while keeping it fun. Through volunteering with this program, I was able to learn how to teach young children fundamental soccer skills using fun drills and games.
